Connecticut to offer online high school courses

The state of Connecticut has begun offering online high school courses. They hope to meet two needs:

1. To provide additional ways for students who have fallen behind to get caught up; and

2. To provide a greater variety of courses than could be offered at some high schools.

You can read an article about it here.

An interesting quote from the article:

“We want to use online courses to increase access to high-quality content so that every student in Connecticut will have access to the courses they need when they need them,” said Gov. M. Jodi Rell.

Yes, there is an e-book!

Since I have not mentioned it in a while, I thought I would do so here. In addition to the print version of Complete Guide to Online High Schools, there is also an e-book version available for the very cheap price of $8.95. You can find that electronic product over at Payloadz.com.
