The Maine Distance Learning Project provides students with the opportunity to take courses that are not offered by their local high schools, but not, as of yet, offer a high school diploma (or anywhere close to one). Still, if you live in Maine, you may find this helpful.

On May 1, 2008 I posted about BestOnlineHighSchools.com hitting 50,000 hits. I was impressed with how much the site has grown. And you all just kept on coming.
As of today, BOHS hit 60,000!
It’s all rather amazing. What helps, of course, is that we are heading toward the end of the school year and people are considering their options for next year.
It also helps now that BOHS is often the #1 hit in Google for “online high schools” and “free online high schools” and if not at the top, typically in the top three.
And we owe this most definitely to our loyal readers. Thank you.
