Kentucky has one and only one online high school. Kentucky Virtual High School does not offer a diploma program, but does offer Advanced Placement, credit recovery, GATE, and foreign language courses.

Basehor-Linwood Virtual School was the first virtual school in the state of Kansas and opened in 1998.
Lawrence Virtual School is a part of the Lawrence Unified School District. The focus is on preparation for college.
Smoky Valley Virtual Charter School has a focus on providing quality education comparable to their brick-and-mortar schools, but with flexible scheduling.
Turner Virtual Learning Center is located in Kansas City.
Turning Point Learning Center is part of the Emporia Public Schools.
ADDED: Elkhart Cyber School is open to students from other states, but charges tuition for those students.

Earlier today, Best Online High Schools reached 50,000 hits. What is interesting is that in the first year, BOHS hit 30,000. that other 20,000 has been in the last two months. I think it is safe to say that readership is on an upswing!
The goal has always been to become the place for learning how to earn a high school diploma online. It appears we are headed in that direction.
