Apparently, my post yesterday about the fact that there is no such thing as online GED exams has brought the loonies out of the woodwork. Mostly the posts and the emails were along the line of:

Yeah, but we’re different!

That may be true, but it doesn’t matter. A GED is a specific sort of thing. When we talk about GEDs, we are talking about the examination program that is run by the American Council on Education. Anything that is not that is not a GED.
