CMA School of Arts and Sciences
Are you looking for a school that not only celebrates the individual, but also personalizes learning through the use of diagnostic assessments, learning styles inventories, and highly trained instructors who match the student with the most appropriate curriculum available to fit their individual needs??
Then, Christa McAuliffe Academy may be the right choice for you!
Self-Paced: Students can take 1 – 3 classes at a time, often completing more than six classes over the course of a year. Many motivated and bright individuals have graduated early through our unique approach!
Student-Centered: Students have their classes tailored to their learning styles, interests, and needs.
Learn At Home or On the Go: Learning options include fully online, offline, and even community-based courses such as karate lessons for PE or art studio lessons for art. Choose what works for you!
Mastery-Based: Students earn all As and Bs because they get the support they need, are allowed to redo lessons to a mastery level, and can zoom through lessons they already know.
Enriching Electives: Courses include forensic science, graphic arts for elementary students, game design, marketing, digital photography, and many more. World language courses are available for both elementary and secondary; languages include Latin, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, and American Sign Language.
Social Activities: Students can gather in online clubs and through offline get-togethers such as pizza parties, skating, coffee shop writing club meet-ups, archery lessons, and more. Flexible scheduling allows students more time for socializing and community involvement.
Honors Program: Students engage in activities at a higher level of learning (analyze, evaluate, and/or create) and that develop personal character while also serving their community or beyond.
No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave. ~Calvin Coolidge
